Event comments
Fredericksburg was the site of the first IVV sanctioned walk, held in June, 1976. The original AVA Pilgrimage Walk (10 km) was sanctioned here in 1980 and started at the Sunday House Motel, as it was known then.

Driving to the start box
501 E. Main St. (US 290/87), Fredericksburg TX 78624. (800-274-3762 sundayhouseinn.com) From IH-10 at Exit 477, turn east on US-290; at Exit 523, turn north on US-87. Continue to the start point on the south side of Main St. WALK BOX is in the lobby.
