Mon-Fri, 7-7; Sat, 7-6; Sun, 8-6. The route is primarily on a recreational trail with a portion on city streets. The portion on city streets is either in areas with residential traffic only or on streets with a marked bike lane. Vacaville is a typical small town of the 20th Century. Vacaville was a prosperous farming center with beautiful Victorian homes, both large and small and a picturesque historic downtown. In the center of town is Andrews Park with it's creek walk. Andrews Park serves as the center of downtown Vacaville.

Driving to the start box

876 Alamo Dr, Vacaville, CA 95688. From the East (I-80 from Sacramento area) exit at Alamo Dr. Turn Left onto Alamo at the traffice light. Turn Left into Alamo Plaza Shopping Center. Diggers Deli is in the far left corner. From the West (I-80 from San Francisco area) exit at Alamo/Merchant exit. Stay to the left and go under Alamo. Merge onto Alamo Dr. Turn Left into Alamo Plaza Shopping Center immediately after the first traffic signal. Diggers Deli is in the far left corner. Please do not park directly in front of Diggers Deli. Park in the center of the lot. Signup at Diggers Deli and drive to the start point, Vaca Valley Hospital, 1000 Nut Tree Road, Vacaville CA 95687.
