10KM/7KM - Open 7days a week: Mon-Fri. 5:00 a.m.- 9:30 p.m. Sat. 5:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Sun. 5:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. Burke Centre abounds in lovely shaded and safe walking paths. This newest Burke Centre walk makes extensive use of these paths as you wend your way around six lovely ponds and pass windmills. Turtles sunning themselves on the rocks, redwing blackbirds flitting in and out of the cattails and newly hatched ducklings and goslings are just some of the flora and fauna you may enjoy. Ninety-five percent of the trail is on blacktop, mostly shaded.

Driving to the start box
6003A Burke Centre Parkway, Burke VA 22015 (703)250-2292 From I-66: Exit 55 (Fairfax County Pkwy/VA286) So. to Fairfax. Continue approx. 5.2 miles to Burke Centre Pkwy. Left on Burke Centre Pkwy. Drive east 0.7 miles to Ox Road (VA 123). Cross Ox Road. then drive approx. 2 miles. Left turn into Burke Towne Centre shopping center. Starbucks is next to Giant Grocery Store. Capital Beltway (I-495) Via Braddock Road: Take (I-495) to Exit 54A (Braddock Rd. W) to Fairfax. Continue West on Braddock (VA 620) approx. 1.6 miles. Make a slight left turn onto Burke Lake Rd. Drive 2.5 miles then turn right onto Burke Centre Pkwy. Drive 1.4 miles then turn right into Burke Towne Centre, Terre Centre Elem. School will be on your left. Ask the baristas at cash registers for the walk box. It should be on the counter top.
