Event information
Welcome Center is open Monday-Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM, Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 1-4. Closed New Years Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Day. The course is a sunny walk on country roads and small town sidewalks through Historic Madison. Southern history and hospitality await you as you pass the citys many Ante-bellum and Victorian homes and churches which escaped destruction during Union General Shermans infamous march to the sea. Madison is now an internationally renowned destination for history, gardening, architecture and antique buffs.

Driving to the start box
115 East Jefferson ST. From I-20 E, Exit 113 (Hwy 83/Madison/Monticello) and turn left at end of ramp. Follow to end and turn right on Hwys 278/83. Bear left at fork (83/278/12) and take to South Main ST to Jefferson ST. Parking is available on the street around the square. Visitors may park longer than the posted two hour limit. Ask for Walk Box at the desk.
