Event information
Closed Christmas. The Evergreen State College is the first public four-year college created in Washington in the 20th century, opening in 1971. The campus contains a large tract of undeveloped land along the Puget Sound waterfront, much of it being second growth evergreen forest, which is of use to the students and faculty as a research and natural area. The entire campus comprises about 1008 acres, including 27 acres of south Puget Sound tidelands. In addition to the main campus, there is also an organic farm. Walk through the campus on sidewalks and maintained paths with some stairs. Pets need to be on a leash. The 7k route is rated 1A. State Challenges: Thurston County, All clubs.

Driving to the start box
1530 Black Lake Blvd. S.W., Olympia WA 98502. From I-5 at Olympia (both Northbound and Southbound), take Exit #104 to US 101 North. Take Black Lake Blvd northbound exit and get into the right lane ASAP. Turn right onto Black Lake Blvd. Take the first right into the Barnes & Noble Books parking lot. The box will be at the Customer Service counter in the middle of the store. After registering drive to the walk start point at The Evergreen State College.
