Event comments

The trail is rated 2B and will go north along Monument Creek with views of Pikes Peak. Both trails are rated 1B and will go north along Monument Creek then west on Woodmen Road. The 10K continues along Woodmen Road past a park and along a nature trail. The 7K diverges at Woodmen Road and continues thru the Rockrimmon neighborhood with spectacular views of Pikes Peak. Both walk routes consist of well maintained trails and city sidewalks. The trail is suitable for large wheeled jogging strollers. Wheelchairs are not recommended. Leashed pets are welcome. Restrooms available at the start/finish. Carrying water is highly recommended. County: El Paso. Elevation: 6,012 ft.

how to get to the event

Driving to the start box

6150 Corporate Dr. -From 1-25, exit 148a (Nevada). Nevada becomes Corporate at new interchange. Proceed less than a block (N) of interchange to bike shop with bright blue roof.
