Event information
Open 7am to 9pm daily. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day. ROUTE: Fort Townsend State Park lies atop a 150-foot cliff, commanding a scenic view of Admiralty Inlet, Port Townsend Bay and the Cascade Mountains. Walk along the nature/hiking trails throughout this heavily wooded park, with its rich military history dating from pioneer days. There are several Geocaches in the State Park.

Driving to the start box
1300 Water Street, Port Townsend. DIRECTIONS: Follow SR 104 from the Hood Canal Bridge. Exit RIGHT at SR 19 (Port Townsend). SR 19 becomes SR 20 2.5 miles south of Port Townsend. Continue into Port Townsend on the highway. Subway is on the left across from the ferry entrance at the stop light. Park your car in the lot on the right or on the street, after passing the ferry entrance. Walk across to Subway to register. Please no parking in the limited Subway lot. Ask for the walk box. YOU MUST DRIVE TO FORT TOWNSEND STATE PARK TO BEGIN THIS WALK. NOTE: A daily $10 vehicle fee (or $30 annual pass) is required to enter a Washington State Park.
