Long description

Restaurant open M-F 6am-4pm, Sat 7am-4pm, closed Sundays, call for holiday hours. Walk box is on the bookcase to the left of the main entrance of Karen's Bakery. This 25K bike route will dazzle you with the hidden bike trails from historic Folsom along Humbug Willow Creek and the American River Parkway. The route starts in old historic Folsom at the award winning Karen's Bakery and continues along the American River for a few miles until it hooks up with the Humbug Willow Creek bike trail. Travel through the wetlands of a thriving bird sanctuary, over bridges, through parks and along an urban lake. This gem of a bike ride is hidden in the middle of an urban setting, but you would never know it. This is primarily an out and back route and is fairly easy with few hills. Restrooms and water are available at start and in the parks along the route.
