Event information
Restaurant open daily M-F 4:30 am-8:00 pm, Sat/Sun 5 am-7:30 pm, call for holiday hours. Walk box is against the window next to condiment counter in the seating area. This walk takes in a beautiful section of the American River Parkway bike path and crosses the river on 3 different bridges. This pleasurable walk is memorable in the early morning and near dusk as the sun reflects on the fast moving river. Watch for birds and deer as well as other wildlife along the trail. Be sure to walk on the left side of the bike path for safety as this trail is heavily used by cyclists. Keep dogs closely reined in. Restroom available in start location.

Driving to the start box
610 Watt Ave, Sacramento, CA 95864 (916) 484-1579. From US 50 take Watt Ave exit North, cross Fair Oaks Blvd, turn right just past gas station. Starbucks is in the strip mall facing Watt Ave. Additional parking located at the end of strip mall and around back.
