Event information
This walk is on multi-purpose trails and city sidewalks. The 10K route starts on a pretty shaded trail, through "Old Towne Altoona" and residential areas and back on the trail by the handicap accessible Enabling Garden and past a War Memorial.

Driving to the start box
1500 8th St SW. I-80 Exit 143, go S approx 2 miles to stop light at cross street 8th St SW. Turn right. Going W through 2 stop lights. Campus on S side of 8th St SW. Altoona 12 miles E of Des Moines on I-80.
