Event information

Daily, dawn to dusk. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas. Stayton is a small rural town 15 miles east of Salem. After walking a nice trail, you will pass a hospital, high school, Stayton-Jordan Covered Bridge, post office, and many other sights.

how to get to the event

Driving to the start box

100 Martin Drive. From I-5 north or south, take Hwy 22 (Stayton/Detroit Dam) exit and go east 12 miles to the Stayton/ Sublimity exit. Turn right on Cascade Hwy. Turn left at the first street, Whitney Street. Go 1 block, turn right on Martin Drive and proceed to the Dairy Queen. Ask for the walking box at the front counter. Let customers be served first.
