Long description

This is a lovely, shady walk through the residential areas of Land Park and Curtis Park. Most of the houses were built in the 1930's and influenced by English styles. Two houses stand out along the 10K walk: The Alice-in-Wonderland house and the Tile House (details in Comments).

The Alice-in-Wonderland house and garden is a true labor of love. Dog treats are always available in a candy jar in the front yard for dog owners to help themselves. The most amazing house however, is the Tile House built by two artists and completely surrounded by ceramic tiles both in the garden and on the house itself. This is a true masterpiece. Be sure and go down the alleyway to get the full effect, you will be amazed. Don't forget your camera for this house! CA Counties: Sacramento. (5k = 3.1 miles, 10k = 6.2 miles)
