Event comments
Virginia Museum of History and Culture is closed and will remain closed to guests through early April 2021. Email the POC, Mary Ann Gries, for instructions for the walk and a start card. When walk is completed, participant shall return the start card with payment. POC will then email them an insert card. We apologize for any inconvenience. Due to construction, the museum's parking lot is closed. Parking is available on the street. This walk counts for the city of Richmond Virginia Cities program. Closed Federal Holidays, Easter Sunday, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Day and New Year's Eve and Day. Owners must clean up after their pets. The optional 4 km loop on 10 km trail includes Hollywood Cemetery, making that a 14 km walk. Both walks are suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Ice Cream Parlors is only available on the 10 km walk.

Event information
Walk through the heart of Monument Avenues Historic District along a tree-lined boulevard passing grand homes, churches. The 10 km walk includes a variety of shops, boutiques & restaurants in Carytown. The optional 4 km loop on the 10km includes Hollywood Cemetery
