Long description
Mt Talbert, one of a group of extinct volcanoes in the Portland area, is a beautiful undeveloped butte in Clackamas County. Along with wildlife and abundant vegetation, a revitalized oak savanna and wet prairie meadow are in the park. The park offers miles of hiking trails, information about the cultural and natural resources found there and great access to nature close to home. A short easy trail to a small native prairie that blooms in the spring is at the nature center. One 5K loops goes to the Clackamas Town Center and to an extension of Clackamas Community College on Harmony Rd. There are now two 5K routes to choose from.
