Walking the USA A - Z

Long description

Open 24/7. After registering you will drive 2 miles to Presque Isle State Park to the start. Directions will be in the walk box. Most of the trail is on paved surfaces with some grass. 10/12K has option to walk on rougher surfaces. Erie does get a lot of snow, so natural trails may be messy in early May. There is plenty of free parking and many restrooms along the trail. Be careful of bikers - most trails are multi-use. Use insect repellent - state parks have ticks and this one also has sand flies because there are beaches.

Distance: 5/10/12K, Rating: 1B

Restrooms: Yes

Pets: Yes

Strollers: Medium

Wheelchairs: hard
