Event comments

The 7k and 10k trails are rated 2B and go north along Monument Creek with views of Pikes Peak, and then west along Woodmen Road. The 7k diverges at Woodmen Road and continues thru the Rockrimmon neighborhood with spectacular views of Pikes Peak. The 10K continues along Woodmen Road past a park and along a nature trail. The 5K is an out and back along Monument Creek and is rated a 1B. All walk routes consist of maintained trails and city sidewalks. The trails are suitable for large wheeled jogging strollers. Wheelchairs are not recommended. Leashed pets are welcome. Restrooms available at the start/finish. Carrying water is highly recommended. County: El Paso. Elevation: 6,012 ft.

Driving to the start box

6150 Corporate Dr. -From 1-25, exit 148 (Nevada/Corporate Dr. or Rockrimmon/Corporate/Nevada). At the interchange, proceed toward the mountains to the bike shop with bright blue roof.
