Event information
This lovely walk will be along the Old Mills Trail starting in Darden Towe Park and continuing along the east side of the Rivanna River. It is mostly flat except for a steep hill near the turn-around point for the 10 KM walk. The trail is partly paved but mostly dirt. There are steps at the beginning and end of the walk.

Driving to the start
1445 Darden Towe Park Rd, Charlottesville, VA. (29 May ONLY). Take I-64 to Exit 124 toward Charlottesville to US 250 W. Take US 250 W for about 1.6 miles to VA-20 N (Stony Point Rd). Turn RIGHT on VA-20 N and continue about mile to Elk Dr. Turn LEFT on Elk Dr and continue to the T-intersection in the park. Turn RIGHT and continue to the end parking lot near the shelter.
