The address/location for the Physical Start Box (PSB) is as follows:
The start point has temporarily moved to 1416 Oak Park Ave, Des Moines. The walk box will be inside a Rubbermaid garden storage box next to the driveway behind the house. Directions to the Botanical Garden will be provided.

Event comments
One of the nation's biggest and best Farmer's Markets is on Saturday mornings May thru October 7AM - Noon in the Court Ave District. World Food Prize Building is open on Sat mornings from 9 AM - 1PM. Well worth a visit. Walk box is located in the alcove to your right when you walk in the door.

Event information
Most days 8-5. This walk is on city sidewalks and multi-purpose trails along the Des Moines and Raccoon Rivers and around Gray's Lake. It returns to the finish through the Court Avenue District in downtown Des Moines and across the Principal Pedestrian Bridge. Hours 10am-5pm daily; closed New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Driving to the start box
From West I-235 Exit E 6th St go right (S) to Des Moines St. Turn right on Des Moines St 5 blocks to Robert D Ray Dr and turn right. From East I-235 Exit E 6th St go left (S) to Des Moines St. Turn right on Des Moines St 5 blocks to Robert D Ray Dr and turn right.
