Event information
This walk begins in Ladd's Addition. The streets here are in a diagonal wagon wheel pattern, so follow driving directions carefully. This walk offers some of Portlands best city views and is a must-see for visitors. The paved route consists of a path along the Eastbank Esplanade on the east side of the Willamette River and through Waterfront Park on the west side. Two bridges (with pedestrian walkways shared with bicycles) make the connection across the river. On the weekends you will pass the Portland Saturday Market. The route leaves the river briefly to visit Pioneer Courthouse Square, an urban park affectionately known as Portland's Living Room. Palio opens at 8AM. Walk daylight hours

Driving to the start box
Start Point is TEMPORARILY CLOSED. Contact POC to register. 1996 SE Ladd Ave 97214. From I-5 Southbound, take exit 300B for Oregon City. Merge onto SE Belmont St. Right at SE 11th. Left at SE Hawthorne St. Right at SE Ladd Ave. Take Ladd Circle left to Ladd Ave and the start. From I-5 Northbound take exit 300 toward I-84. Keep right at the fork and merge onto SE Yamhill. Right on Martin Luther King Blvd. Right on SE Mill St. Left at SE 3rd Ave. Continue on Division St. Left on SE 12th. Right on SE Elliott. At Ladd Circle continue around to Ladd Ave and the start.
