Event information

Enjoy a delightful walk through historical Maryville, founded in 1795. The Cades Cove / Thompson-Brown House Museum, Blount County Historical Museum and old Courthouse highlight the area's history, while the Blount County Justice Center, Hospital and new Municipal Center reflect the modern-day city. Your journey includes the tree lined streets of Maryville College and a section of Greenway featuring a tribute to Maryville's history and the spring which provided water to Ft Craig in the late 18th century. Open Daily (except Christmas & New Years). Mon-Wed 7 am - 7 pm, Thur - Sat 7 am - 9 pm. Sun 10 am - 4 pm.

how to get to the event

Driving to the start box

212 College St., Maryville. From East and West I-40, take Exit 376 to I-140 to Maryville/Alcoa. Take Exit 11A (Hwy 129 South) and merge with traffic. After passing the airport, get into LEFT lane and stay left at the split, following the sign for North US 411 to North US 321 to Maryville, Townsend, Smoky Mountains - this becomes Hall Rd. Continue on Hall Rd through the city of Alcoa to Maryville. After crossing the Veterans Memorial Bridge, the road becomes Washington St. At the 2nd traffic light on Washington St., turn RIGHT on to Sevierville Rd which will curve to your left and become E. Church Ave. The Vienna Coffee House building will be on your left down College St with ample parking.
