Long description

This walk takes you through the tourist town of Gatlinburg. Get your fill of tourist attractions and all the shopping opportunities you could ask for from T-shirt to candy shops to Moonshine tasting. Something for everyone. While damage from the forest fire can be seen along the route, this walk is open and can be walked without any problem. Mon-Sat 10 AM to 7 PM, Sun 10 AM to 6 PM. Closed Christmas and New Years. Event shares Walk Box with Gatlinburg Trail and Elkmont Historic Trail Walks.

how to get to the event

Driving to the start box

1138 Parkway 37738. 866-349-5365. From the east, take exit 443 (Foothills Pkwy) off I-40. Turn left and follow it to US 321. Left on 321 to US 441 in Gatlinburg. Left on 441 (Parkway) to light #10. NOC on your left. From Knoxville, take exit 407 off I-40. Take TN 66 to Sevierville (8miles) then south on US 441 (Parkway) to light #10.
