Event comments

Start location temporary hours due to Covid: Mon & Thurs: seniors only, 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Tues & Fri: open 10:00 a.m. Sun, Wed & Sat: open 7:00 a.m. Store closes 10:00 p.m. Restrooms along the route but not at the start/finish point. Carry water. Wheelchair and strollers will have great difficulty and will need to find some alternate routes. No award. Credit only is $3. Free walkers welcome but must register and carry start card.

Event information

10K - Walk through the Madison Park community along Lake Washington passing some great viewpoints, and then walk thru and enjoy the Washington Park Arboretum. 6K walkers will head directly for and through the Arboretum. The Arboretum is open dawn to dusk. See Comments section for temporary hours of start location.

This event also has a physical start box. These are the driving directions:

1801 41st Avenue East, Seattle. From I-5 NB exit onto Madison Street eastbound (away from downtown). Go 2.8 miles to 41st East. The store is on the left. From I-5 SB take Montlake Blvd exit, and then the Montlake offramp. Right on Montlake, left on Interlake, Right on Lk Washington Blvd, and then left on Madison. Do not park in the store lot; there is plenty of parking on neighborhood streets.
