Event information
Celebrate the 4th with a morning walk in one of Seattle's oldest neighborhoods, rich in history. South Park is a diverse community ethnically and in terms of land use. Nice residential areas along with manufacturing and marine industry along the Duwamish River. We'll walk along the river, over the river, up to the Marra-Desimone Park and Gardens, and back over Highway 99 on the pedestrian bridge past the Sea Mar campus.

Driving to the start
From I-5, exit at Michigan St ramp. At stoplight, continue straight ahead on Corson Ave S (crossing Michigan St). LEFT on E. Marginal Way S. Get in RIGHT lane and turn RIGHT on 16th Ave S, to CROSS the South Park Bridge. RIGHT on S. Cloverdale. RIGHT on 8th Ave S. Two blocks to Start at Park. Use street parking in area.
