Long description
These routes are through residential areas, parks, cemeteries and downtown. There are historic homes, memorials and markers. Shiner is home to the famous 1909 Spoetzel Brewery, the last independent brewery in Texas. Start point is currently open daily at 6:30am to 6:30pm. Three walks: 5k Town walk; 6k Cemetery/Park walk; and 11k total Shiner City Historic walk.

Driving to the start box
1701 N Ave E, Shiner Texas 77984. Go south on US-183, turn left on Alt US-90 and continue for 18 miles. Howard's is on the left. Or from Tx-95 go south 18 miles to FM-3435, turn right to Alt- US-90/Ave E, turn right. Howard's is on the right.
