The trail is entirely on paved surfaces with a few moderate hills. Walk through historic Perkasie, through residential areas and along paved greenway trails. There are a few minor hills towards the end of the walk.

This event also has a physical start box. These are the driving directions:
608 W. Market St., Perkasie, PA 18944 (215-257-3400). From PA-309 take exit for Perkasie/PA-563. If travelling 309 N, turn left at the end of the ramp on Lawn Ave; if travelling 309 S, turn right at the end of the ramp on Lawn Ave. Turn right on Ridge Rd./PA-563 N for approx. 2 miles. Turn right on Market St. Go approx. 0.5 miles to start point on the left. Free parking in the municipal lot at 8th & Market, 2 blocks from the start point.
