Event comments

Winlock is the first incorporated city in Lewis County. The city hosts Egg Days in June complete with parade, free egg salad sandwiches, and a classic car show. A walk up a short hill will bring you, a spectacular view of Mount Rainier, (on a clear day) and Winolequa Park. State and Local Challenges: 39 Counties (Lewis County); Frontline Heroes - Delivery Services (post office), Sustenance Providers (restaurants), Essential Services (police station, banks).

Event information

Walk by historic buildings and homes as well as two local history museums. Winlock boasts the worlds largest egg. There are several colorful roosters scattered around town, including one painted in Seahawks colors commemorating the Hawks 2014 Superbowl win.

This event also has a physical start box. These are the driving directions:

I-5 N or S, exit 63. N turn left. S turn right. Proceed to Winlock. IGA right on SR 505. Ask for Volkswalk Box at service desk. Drive a few blocks to begin the walk. Daily, dawn to dusk.
