Event information
Scenic mountain walking/hiking trail with views of Silver Falls and the Ohanapecosh River. Both 5K and 10K walks cross the river on a wooden bridge at Silver Falls. The 10K continues up the river and crosses it on a steel cable suspension bridge to a wooden boardwalk that loops through huge trees in the Grove of the Patriarchs before returning back down river and through the campground areas. The trail is mostly dirt with exposed roots and rocks in places. Sturdy hiking shoes and walking sticks are helpful. Wa State Challenges: 39 Cos. - Lewis.
