Event comments

Camping is available in the park for tents and RV's up to 28 ft. Reservations not necessary at this time of year. Dogs on leash are allowed at campsites only. Wheelchairs and strollers advised to do the 5K disabled access trails. Water and restrooms at the start and along the route. There is a park entrance fee. Carpooling advised.

Event information

A wonderful fun-filled spooky walk along paved and dirt trails through the woods. Ghosts and goblins may be lurking along the trails. Wear your favorite costume as we will have a costume contest after the walk.

Driving to the start

28000 Austin Rd., Ripon, CA 95366. From Stockton follow Hwy 99 South to Exit #240. Exit and turn left on frontage road to Austin Rd. Right on Austin Rd. over the railroad tracks and continue on Austin Rd. six miles to the Park entrance. Go straight ahead through gate to second driveway on left to the Big Meadows Picnic Area. Coming from South of Ripon, follow Hwy. 99 North to Exit #240. Exit and turn left on Austin Rd. Follow Austin Rd. six miles to Park entrance. Go straight ahead through gate to 2nd driveway, the Big Meadows Picnic Area.
