Driving to the start box
Register at Microtel Inn, 301 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy in Scott, La (about 4 miles north of Lafayette and just off I-10). From east or west, take exit 110 on I-10 to Ambassador Caffery Pkwy south about .7 mile to the Microtel on the east side. After registering, drive about 4 miles to downtown Lafayette to start the walk. Directions to the start point are included on the walk directions.
