Route goes into very nice neighborhoods and parks in Hazel Dell and along the Burnt Bridge Creek Greenway. 5km does not enter the Burnt Bridge Creek Greenway and is rated 1A.

While COVID restrictions are in place, registration is move to the POC residence at 2216 NE 110th St. 2 miles from the start. Start at 7710 NE 5th Avenue, Suite 122. From I-5 north or south, take Exit #4 NE 78th Street. At end of ramp, turn Northbound/left or Southbound/right onto 78th Street. Quickly get into far left lane and turn left at next traffic light onto NE 5th Avenue. Right into Black Rock Coffee Bar. Please use perimeter spaces in the shopping center's parking lot away from start point.
