Event information

Daily, daylight hours. The 12K walk passes through Yakama and Klickitat Indian Ceremonial and fishing grounds. No trespassing off the trail. Besides the laundromat next door to the start point there's a restroom or portable toilet at the SR14 trail head. Otherwise no restroom on the trail. First 3K of the Klickitat trail to Fisher Hill Rail Trestle bridge (7K turn around) is improved packed gravel, suitable for big wheel strollers. Paved Fisher Hill rail trestle bridge over the river has great views of the Lyle Falls and is the turn around for the 7K. Beyond the trestle the trail is unimproved but easily passable. Dogs allowed on leash only and must not be allowed off the trail. Poison Oak along the edges in some places. Sunny, so wear a hat, bring water, and use sunscreen.
