Walk the historic town of Whittier, CA, Hollywood's idea of small town America. It's the home of Richard Nixon and Whittier College. The route passes the original Whittier train station that's still used as a transportation hub by city buses. There are four city parks on this route, including one that features a statue of poet John Greenleaf Whittier. The town has been the backdrop for the TV series Wonder Years and movies including Father of the Bride 2, Back to the Future II and Terminator 3.The route is all on paved paths, sidewalks or on the Whittier College campus pathways.
