5k rated 1A; Strollers easy on the 5k, but not suitable on the forest trails of the 10k. Pets welcome on leash and owner cleanup. Restrooms at the start and in Spanaway Park.

Event information
Walk through Spanaway Park on paved trails, and on side of streets in south neighborhoods. The 10K goes on the dirt trails through Bresemann Forest, on streets to Enchanted Island and returns through Spanaway Park woods trails to the paths through the park.

The detailed location of and driving directions to the event starting point are included in the walk's directions downloaded from the AVA Online Start Box. Physical Start Box: Arco Gas Station, 11908 Pacific Ave. Tacoma. From I-5 take exit #127 (SR512). Take SR7 (Parkland) Exit. Turn south (right) onto Pacific Ave. Continue to 119th. Turn right, then turn left into gas station lot. Walk Box is right inside the door to the left. Mail in fees in envelope provided. Please thank the staff. Drive to Start at Sprinker Recreation Center 14824 C St S. Tacoma.
