DRIVE TO START: EB I-90 exit 52 (Snoqualmie Pass West) to PCT parking lot. Northwest Forest Service Pass, Golden Eagle Pass or equivalent required to park. Self Register at the trailhead for a permit to hike.Start from Snoqualmie Pass, I-90 Exit 52 Snoqualmie Pass West, PCT Trailhead Parking area.A twelve mile round trip hike through old growth forests and up switchbacks to alpine wildflower gardens and the famous Katwalk, a 150 foot long, 4-5 foot wide trail blasted into a sheer slope at 5400 feet. 2700 foot elevation gain. Check for snow conditions. Be prepared for all kinds of weather. Bring the 10 essentials, including food and water.
