Event information
ROUTE: This trail offers a nice walk along the north shore of Lake Crescent on a paved trail, following the old abandoned railroad grade Both tunnels have been restored and can be walked through (bring a flashlight!) Now that the trail is paved, be aware that folks on various wheels will be on the trail. There are beautiful views of Lake Crescent along the paved trail. Restrooms at the trail head. Pets allowed on trail with leash.

This event also has a physical start box. These are the driving directions:
1127 Lauridsen Blvd. Hwy 101 West. Turn LEFT on Lincoln St. Continue Straight on Lincoln past several stop lights. Turn RIGHT on Lauridsen Blvd at the stop light staying on 101 West. Go approximately 1 mile to Fairmount Shell on RIGHT. Just before the Shell station is the Fairmount Restaurant on the RIGHT. Walk box is in the far right entry (on the left as you enter.) NOTE: While East Beach Road is closed: Driving East on HWY 101, take WA-112 to Joyce. At Joyce, turn LEFT on Joyce-Piedmont Rd. Turn RIGHT onto East Beach Road to the Spruce Railroad Trailhead. YOU MUST DRIVE 19.2 MILES TO THE TRAIL HEAD WHERE THIS WALK BEGINS.
