Event information
Daily 9am to 6 pm. Call to determine. Elevation 6,000 ft. Snow/ice cancels walk. New all paved, undulating expanded river view trail. Variable shade. Information signs pertaining to historic sites along Truckee River. Numerous viewing benches. View of 3 volcanoes. Restrooms at the beginning of trail.

Driving to the start box
11951 CA Hwy. #267, Truckee, CA 96161. From Hwy. #80 take exit 188B for CA-89/267 toward Sierraville/Lake Tahoe. Turn right onto #267 for 1.7 mi. Destination will be on left. After registering, there will be a short drive to the starting point. (See driving directions in walk instructions.)
