Ketchikan is adapted from Alaskan native peoples and is an island community in the Alaska Inside Passage. It was incorporated in 1900 because of its abundant salmon runs and other natural resources.

Event information
The route consists of 2 5k loops. You will walk on trails, bridges and boardwalks with opportunities to view salmon, totems and majestic trees. Loop 1 is quite hilly and is rated 2B. Loop 2 stays mostly along the harbor and is rated 1B. Strollers with modifications.
