Event information
Port Ludlow is a seaside community with over 26 miles of beautiful trails. It's located between Hood Canal Bridge and Port Townsend. The 5K (1B) route includes a section along the beach, wooded trails, wooden bridges, an Interpretive Trail with a waterfall, waterfront neighborhoods, and views of Puget Sound. It's relatively flat but there are some steps up and down. The 10K (3B) adds in an uphill trail climb to a higher neighborhood, a flat loop on wooded trails up there, and then a trail walk downhill. There are some roots on the trails. This should be a cooler walk with lots of shade. The trail will be marked. Dogs welcome on leash. Look for another event in the same area on Sunday, to be announced. Come and spend the weekend! There are also YREs in nearby Port Townsend.
