This walk explores the fascinating history and natural beauty of Marrowstone Island and Fort Flagler. Enjoy the beautiful views and many batteries to explore. Pets allowed, but not in buildings.

Event information
DIRECTIONS. From the Hood Canal Bridge follow SR104 to the Port Townsend exit (SR19). Follow SR19 north to Chimacum (4 way stop). RIGHT to Port Hadlock to next 4 way stop. RIGHT and take second LEFT to Indian Island/Nordland. Follow this highway (SR116) to Ft. Flagler. Follow Volksmarch signs to start/finish. From Coupeville - Port Townsend Ferry: LEFT on Water Street for 5 miles. Keep to LEFT on SR19 and drive 3.4 miles to Port Hadlock and turn LEFT on SR116. Continue as above.
