Event comments
This favorite walk meanders through beautiful ocean front residential areas. Discover garden paths through "Little Venice" and its brightly painted beach rentals. Then climb up the cliff side stairs for breathtaking views of the ocean as you continue through Secret Paths and Stairways around this lovely quaint tourist town of Capitola. The views at the top of the stairs are worth the effort! At the start be sure to try their coffee - it is brewed to order!

California county: Santa Cruz. Trail rating includes one long stair way up the cliff and one shorter stairway beside a train trestle. Restrooms are at the start and at the end of the beach.

Driving to the start box
3701 Portola Dr, Santa Cruz, CA 95062-5163. Open 6:00-2:00PM daily. Call first on holidays. (831) 477-1940. From Hwy 1, take the 41st Ave exit West to Portola Dr. Turn right, cross 38th Ave. Coffeetopia will be on your right. Walking file cabinet is in small room on left. (It used to be a bank vault.)
