Event information
Daily dawn to dusk. Most of the trail is on paved bike trails, sidewalks and roads. Parts of it are on grass, gravel and a forested trail with exposed roots. No steep hills. Route includes parts of the Alyeska Ski Area, the Girdwood Town Site, school and library. The full route is 10km. An alternate 5km walk is also available.

Driving to the start box
1000 Arlberg Rd. Ask for walk box at hotel front desk. Tel. 907-754-1111. Take Seward Hwy to Alyeska Hwy (Milepost 37) and drive the 2.9 miles to the "T" intersection and turn left on Arlberg Ave. Follow to Hotel Alyeska and park in the large parking lots on the left side of Arlberg. There is no public transportation to Girdwood.
