Note: Walkers DO have permission to enter the area to the podium and sign up for the walk using the Physical Start Box (PSB).Challenges: Oregon (WOC) 2020 - Palm Trees, Playgrounds. 2021 - River, Railroads, Salons, Swim pool, veggies, X-ray, yarn and yogurtThis walk is also on the OSB. Please use either OSB or PSB - not both.

Event information

Daily, dawn to dusk. Rated 1A Okay for strollers, no wheelchairs. The route has 2 five km loops. The east loop is on a path along the Columbia River with great views including Mt Hood on sunny days and then along residential areas. The second loop is to the west and goes into the shopping mall then again along the Columbia River. The west loop has a 2 km option to cross over the border into Washington for those walkers that are doing the Airport, Border Crossing and Walk Like an Olympian special programs.

This event also has a physical start box. These are the driving directions:

909 N. Hayden Island Dr. 503-283-4466. On I-5, take Jantzen Beach exit #308 just South of the Interstate Bridge. Hotel is on the East side of the bridge. The START BOX (Podium) is located at the restroom area behind the lobby- reached by going straight past the registration area on the left to the first hallway going right just in front of the Women's restrooms.
