The Old Baldy Trail Loop meanders through stands of aspen, birch and ponderosa pine. Spectacular view from the summit of Old Baldy Mountain. This is a beautiful fall walk.

Driving to the start
In Spearfish, SD, take I-90 exit 8 (McGuigan Rd) and go south on Forest Service Road (Tinton Road) for 13 miles to the trailhead. Look for yellow Volksmarch signs.
