Event comments
Walk along tree lined sidewalks and ponds and on shaded nature trails in this new master planned community in St. Johns County. We start at the Outpost Building at the Kayak Launch Park in Shearwater. Then the walk goes alternately on the community nature trails and through neighborhoods. This is a suburban neighborhood in which open natural areas are an integral part. We stop at the amenities center (Kayak Club) half way through the 10K and 5K where restrooms are available.

Kayak Outpost: 2105 Shearwater Parkway, Shearwater, St. Augustine, Fl.Take 9B South to St. Johns Parkway (exit on left)Slight Left onto St. Johns Parkway to County Rd. 210 W and turn right.Turn left on Shearwater Parkway. At the first traffic circle, take 2nd exit. At the 2nd traffic circle take the 2nd exit. Exit traffic circle. Destination will be on the right.
