McLaren Park is one of the largest (317 acres), includes natural areas, gardens and spectacular views. San Francisco neighborhoods in have been the backdrop for many films, including McLaren Park. The TV series " Streets of San Francisco" has an episode filmed here and who could forget the famous chase scene in Bullit. Routes will include the locations of some of the scenes from these films. Restrooms and water at the start and along the route. Bring water.

Driving to the start
Jerry Garcia Amphitheater Parking Lot, 40 John Shelly Dr at Mansell, San Francisco, CA 94134NORTH BAY/EAST BAY: 101 S take Paul Ave. exit (past 280 turn off & Silver Ave). At exit, go straight onto Mansell ~ 1/2 mile to Shelley Drive. Right onto Shelley. Not far after entering Shelley, the Amphitheater parking lot will be to your left. SOUTH BAY: From 101 North - Take the Paul Ave (429C) exit which puts you on Bayshore Blvd. Continue to Paul Ave, take a left on Paul Ave. then left on San Bruno Ave (1 block). Turn right on Mansell (2nd Right) to ~ 1/2 mile to Shelley Drive and turn right. Not far after entering Shelley, the Amphitheater parking lot will be to your left.
