Event information
Davis Mountains State Park offers a unique and remote destination for all sorts of adventures. Stay at one of the campsites or at Indian Lodge, a historic 39-room motel in the park, which has a restaurant. The 5K walk is on flat road, with one large hill to Indian Lodge. The 10K walk includes hiking in the hills of the Davis Mountains and is rated 3C.

Davis Mountains State Park is reached by traveling one mile north of Fort Davis on State Highway 17 to State Highway 118N, and then west on State Highway 118N for three miles to the Park Road 3 entrance. The walk starts at the Interpretative Center.
