Event comments
The route is on city sidewalks and paved streets. The walk takes you around the historic town square, featuring the beautiful 1877 French Renaissance Davis County Court House. Other sites on the walk include the 1938 Post Office containing the 1940 John Sharp mural "Autumn in Iowa". Other features include the Bloomfield Public Library (1913), funded with a Carnegie Corporation grant and other historic houses. This walk qualifies for the Iowa Counties Program, Davis County.
