Event comments
The Shoreline Interurban Trail is the main focus of this walk, covering the City of Shoreline from 195th to 152nd St. This trail was originally cleared in 1910 and used as an electric train connection from Everett to Tacoma, for the next 30 years. Enjoy local neighborhoods, parks, sport fields, elementary schools and the Shoreline Athletic Center. Restrooms at Twin Ponds Park on 155th and 1st NE and by the tennis courts on 190th and 1st Ave. Paved trails and two bridges over main arterial streets, stairs and/or ramps to cross bridges. Two options: 6K and 11K. ESVA challenge: Counties-KIN. Frontline Heroes. That's Entertainment: Sports, Crafts.

Parking is also available across Midvale Ave in the City Parking Garage, or across 175th St at Trader Joes. Restrooms are in Trader Joes, Twin Ponds Park, and Tennis Courts on 187th and 1st Ave N.

17524 Aurora Ave. N. Shoreline: I-5 exit #176/N 175th, northbound Left, southbound Right, onto 175th. Right on Midvale Ave. Left to Walgreens parking lot. Start Box is on the window sill, to the right of the entrance.Optional 10K start is at the 185th Link/Light rail station in Shoreline. Please use OSB to get these directions, since the physcial start box is only at Walgreens.
