Walk through the town of Roslyn where the TV show "Northern Exposure" was filmed and the historic cemetery with its 23 separate ethnic and fraternal lodge areas. Walk along the forested Coal Mine Rail Trail. WA. State Challenges: 39 Cos. - Kittitas, Strolling Along the Rivers (10K only), Frontline Heroes: DE/SU, That's Entertainment: Cultural - Movie and Theater (10K only) and Museum.

Event information

Restrooms are available at Suncadia Lodge if you register using the PSB. Restrooms also available at the city park in Roslyn. Some short hills and gravel paths make this walk not suitable for wheelchairs. If you walk early in the season, there may be snow patches on the rail trail.

This event also has a physical start box. These are the driving directions:

3600 Suncadia Trail, Cle Elum, WA 98922. I-90 Exit 80 (Roslyn/Suncadia). Turn north on Bullfrog Road (2 miles) to roundabout leading into Suncadia Resort. At roundabout, turn left onto Suncadia Trail Rd and stop at gatehouse to let gatekeeper know you're going to the Lodge. If gatekeeper unavailable, continue on to the Lodge. It is 1.8 miles to the Lodge on your right. Park in self-parking lot. Ask for walk box at Concierge desk on left inside the front doors. The walk box is kept in the closet next to the desk. If Concierge unavailable, ask at registration desk.

After register, drive about 4 miles to walk start in Roslyn. Driving directions to walk start are on walk directions.

PLEASE do not mix and match between the two registration methods. It will confuse you and the club. Choose one, OSB or PSB, to complete the event.
