Event information
The walk traverses city parks and outlying rural residential areas. Walk by a cemetery, along orchards and tree-lined neighborhoods, passing by a beautiful rose garden and museum. You will also see many historic landmarks, and interesting businesses including Spaan's Cookie Factory bakery store and gift shop near the downtown area. A delightful stop as you trek along.

Driving to the start box
324 Pine Street, Galt, CA 95632. From Hwy 99, north or southbound, take Central Galt exit, then WEST on "C" St.. toward the "Golden Arches." Turn left in to McDonald's. Please park in the back of the lot. Ask cashier for walk binder in the Manager's Office. (Ask them to ask the manager if the cashier is not aware of the binder).
